Brompton Wildlife Day will be held at the village hall in Brompton. There will be various displays and some short talks on the various wildlife studies that have been done on the area. This will include a summary of the bat survey we carried out in June. We will also be having a small stand and would appreciate some help during the day especially with erecting and taking down the display boards. The AGM will be followed by a talk by Ed Snell on the Pine marten project in Yorkshire. This is a rearranged talk after Ed’s postponement due to illness.
Meet at the National Trust visitor centre (NZ980016) in Ravenscar at 10.00am. It can be a bit wet under foot in there so stout footwear or boots will be needed along with suitable torches and hard hats. I have a few spare hard hats should anyone need them.
