A circular walk following the route laid out in Peter Robinson’s booklet starting at the small car park above near Suffield on the road to Suffieldm Ings Farm ( SE980899 ). There is considerable amount of work being done by SBC regarding trees and shrubs around the Mere. The Council is keen to add various bird and bat boxes. We have the Queensferry Boat booked for 1st October It is booked at 9.45am for a 10am departure. Subject to weather we will go south to Gristhorpe Cliffs to the seals and then a little further south before coming back looking for cetaceans and birds. Note we are not ‘chumming’. Return at 1pm. Meet at West Pier which is opposite the Harbour Bar (option of ice creams or hot chocolate on our return depending on the weather!). £18 (maybe less if we get more people).
