Orchid Day – 15th June
Jun 15 all-day

A chance to see a good range of local orchids. We will be out all day at various sites to see how many species we can find in a day, repeating a day that John Hume did a few years ago. Looking for double figures at least if we can.

Meet: Friends Meeting House car park

Time: 10:00 (full-day)

Leader: John Hume

We will be visiting various sites (travelling by car) in the Scarborough area to see some of our local orchids. Please bring a packed lunch with plenty to drink if the weather is hot. Also wear suitable outdoor clothing and suntan lotion again if the weather is hot. This will be an all day event but you can choose just to come along for part of the day. In case of bad weather a notice will be posted on the web site. Please also check our facebook page.

Car sharing will be a good idea to make things easier getting from site to site so watch this space for details of timing for departure.
