We have a new event for you in November. To celebrate the life of Pauline Popely who passed away earlier year. Pauline was extremely active in not only the Scarborough Field Nats but also the Whitby and Ryedale Naturalists. To celebrate we are holding a social and quiz evening at the Scarborough Rugby Club in conjunction with Whitby and Ryedale Nats on November 18th starting at 7.30pm. We will be looking for teams to take part and hope that all of you will come and support us even if you do not wish to take part in the quiz.
We have booked our normal room and the bar will be open for refreshments (not a free bar!). We have not laid on other refreshments but food will be available for the café downstairs should anyone feel the need of it.
Our aim is a fun evening and a chance to meet our local naturalists from Ryedale and Whitby. Get the date in your diary and we hope to see you all there. Family and friends will be welcome.
After last years journey along the undercliff from Whitby to Scarborough Rob will now take us south to Flamborough Head and review the best of the wildlife that we so rarely get to see.
Our first indoor meeting of 2023 will be recorders reports for our 2022 activities including badgers, pine martens, bats, dragonflies and shieldbugs.
