Dragonfly Survey – Wykeham Lakes

We have been invited to join YDG and Ryenats for a dragonfly walk round Wykeham Lakes.

Meeet at 10am – Grid Ref SE987823.  Enter the lakes complex and drive down towards the waterpark. Parking just on the right at the southern end of a large fishing lake just before the entrance to the waterpark.

A chance to hear how our latest introduction to the Pickering area is getting on and why it all happened. We hope to plan some field visits to the site later in the year to see how these animals are changing the habitat.

This is a chance to vist the site with Cath Bashforth of FC and see what our beavers have been up to and understand what the project is all about. Numbers will be limited to 12. Please contact Nick Gibbons if you want to attend. It is likely that we will have to develop a system for prioritising as I suspect it will be over subscribed.
