Bring a few snacks and drinks and enjoy a social evening and watch bats hunt over the Mere.
A chance to see a good range of local orchids. We will be out all day at various sites to see how many species we can find in a day, repeating a day that John Hume did a few years ago. Looking for double figures at least if we can. Car sharing will be a good idea to make things easier getting from site to site so watch this space for details of timing for departure.
A chance to venture out and have an illuminating experience!
A chance to see some of these strange birds and other birds and animals of the twilight period. Time and location to be arranged. Note there is a chance we may combine this Nightjar walk with the Glowworms walk the previous week (25th June). This will depend on a recce later this month of potential sites. Watch this space for further information.

This will be point survey to back up the repeat of the 1993 botanical survey of this site by Peter Robinson that we are repeating this year. Meet at Bickley Gate car park at 19.45.
