In the footsteps of William Smith Walk – June 26th

A circular walk following the route laid out in Peter Robinson’s booklet starting at the small car park above near Suffield  on the road to Suffieldm Ings Farm ( SE980899 ). It will be a mix of geology and botany. You will need stout shoes and a packed lunch. It is quite hilly in places and around 7km in total. Contact Nick Gibbons 07790 113025 if you are interested.

Bat survey of Seamer Mere – Sept 10th

There is considerable amount of work being done by SBC regarding trees and shrubs around the Mere. The Council is keen to add various bird and bat boxes. We will do a point survey of the site to determine which bats are using the area. Contact Nick Gibbons 07790 113025 if you are interested.
