The AGM will be followed by a talk by Ed Snell on the Pine marten project in Yorkshire. This is a rearranged talk after Ed’s postponement due to illness.
A chance to find out what has been going on in 2019 and to see what our recorders have ben up to. Members are requested to bring any information/sightings for 2019 and any exhibits for discussion.
A talk by Sam Newton on one of our most declining and iconic species – water voles.
An appropriate presentation as many of these such as Common curlew and Golden plover are in serious decline at present.
This is a joint meeting with the Scarborough Birders and we will be looking at the possibility of setting up a swift box group.
A talk by Alan Rhodda and Philip Winter on moths and what we may expect in our local moth traps. Remember we have a moth trap available for members use with all the relevant books, collection pots etc.
