We will have a get together as a social and also to see the bats, particularly Daubenton’s, feeding on the Mere. Bring something to eat that can be shared and anything you fancy to drink plus a chair.
Meet at the carpark at the north end of Seamer Road Mere at 2pm and we will do the circuit of the Mere and see what we can find. Leader Louise Thompson.

13th August Rock pooling is now at Boggle Hole. Meet at the Boggle Hole car park at 9.30am and bring a packed lunch (there is a café if you prefer!) and something to collect ‘finds’ in. Please wear suitable footwear that can be get wet for paddling. Please let Ginny Leeming know if you are attending.
We will be carrying out a point survey in response to Robert Weatherley’s request for some bat information on Scalby cut. We will try recording at least 5 points across the site to see what bats are using the site. In addition to anyone with a suitable bat recorder we will also be looking for some ‘minders’ who are prepared to assist and accompany those that have. It should be an interesting site with open fields, woodland and also the stream running the length of it. Meet at the small car park by the pumping station at TA 02791 90876 What3Words : .
