Place:                Entrance to Waterloo Plantation, 3 miles west of Helmsley on north side of A170. 
Brian will be at entrance early so look out for him.

Transport:         Cars – we will need to travel on forest roads to get to site.   
Conditions:        Strong shoes boots.  There is some off-path walking (Not long distances).
 
This is the most important ancient tree site in the north of England and one of the most important sites in the UK.  Definitely worth a visit.
